When on Association waters all members must behave in a sportsmanlike
manner, confine their activities to angling only, keep within 5 metres of
the waters edge, close all gates after passing through, respect the right
of other water users and the property of water owners and LEAVE NO LITTER. |

All persons (where applicable) must be in possession of a current valid
Environmental Agency Rod Licence when fishing on Association waters. |

3. |
All members must be in possession of a current valid Southdown A. A.
Club Booklet when fishing on Association waters. |

4. |
No tins or cans are to be taken onto Association waters. |
|
5. |
Two rods may be used at any one time. These must be positioned within
reach of the angler. |

6. |
Keepnets, if used, must be a minimum of 2 metres long, with the
smallest width at least 40 centimetres. |

7. |
All fish must be returned alive to the water from which they were
taken. |
|
8. |
The use of live fish as bait is prohibited on Association
waters.

9. |
Anglers leaving their swim for any reason must remove all lines from
the water. |
|
10. |
Camping, pitching of tents, lighting of fires or playing of portable
radios or similar, is not permitted on Association waters. |

11. |
No dogs (other than a guide dog for a blind person) are permitted on
Association waters. |

12. |
Certain waters have restrictions regarding access, fishing times,
equipment permitted etc. These are clearly spelt out in the listing of
available waters and must be adhered to at all times. |

13. |
Members vehicles and other modes of transport must be parked
considerately at all times. Gates and accesses must not be blocked or
impeded. Members are expressly forbidden to drive into farmers fields
adjacent to SAA waters. |

14. |
Members shall have regard to any uncut silage adjacent to SAA waters.
If silage is present, members shall confine themselves to a narrow strip
of land immediately adjacent to the waters
edge.
