SAA Membership
SAA membership is annual from the 1st May each year until the following 30th April and is conditional upon the payment of an annual subscription. There are six classes of membership: Life Member. This is an honorary designation which is the gift of the Association. Full Member. For people who are 18 or over on 1st May in the year of their membership. Young Member. For people under the age of 18 on 1st May in the year concerned. Young Members under 14 pay a nominal membership fee only. Senior Citizen. For people who qualify for the DSS retirement pension. Disabled Member. For disabled people who have restricted access to Association waters due to the nature of their disability and who hold an Environment Agency disabled concession Rod Licence. Spouse Member. Membership for the spouse of a full Member.
The Committee have the right to refuse membership where such membership would not be in the interests of the Association. Young people under the age of 14 may fish Association waters when they are accompanied by a full Member. New Members (except Young Members) pay a joining fee. A new Member is one who was not a Member during the previous year. You can join by completing an application form and sending it,
together with the appropriate fee to the Membership Secretary at S.A.A. C/O Polegate Angling Centre, 101 Station Road, Polegate, East Sussex, BN26 6EB . You will receive your Association Member's Yearbook and Membership
