The Angling Year could be said to start on a number of dates. The Specimen fish year is 1st February to 30th January; The Association year from its AGM in January; The open water year from June 16th; and so on. Follow this link for the Southdown Competition year in full. If you fish Waller's Haven then Hastings Model Flying Club, flying dates maybe of interest. Occasionally waters are closed for Competitions by other Clubs or Associations, occasionally for environmental reasons. Known closures are shown here. You might also like to keep an eye on when you want to volunteer to assist with Water maintenance, the diary dates are at this link. The Association has an Annual General Meeting, A prizegiving and Social evening, and Management Committee meetings throughout the year. Dates for these are shown at this link. |
