How do you make your boilies? Have you still got your Grandad's secret recipe for bread paste (that your willing to give away)? Has anybody grown their own maggots? (I've seen the detailed instructions, Hmmmm....) Isaac Walton suggested that you could groundbait a swim for a week by hanging a (dead) chicken from a tree above the water, from which the plump maggots fell on a regular basis! Have a go at jelly pellets, Eric Gales' favourite bait.
